We believe that nurturing and caring for children are the cornerstones of human progress.

Gators for UNICEF members at Bob's River Place to help raise funds for the families affected by the floods in Palistan.

The United Nations Children's Fund is mandated by the United Nations to protect the rights of children, provide them basic needs, and expand their opportunities to reach their full potential as members of society.

Specifically, the UNICEF Campus Initiative is a growing grassroots movement whose belief is that college students play a vital role in helping protect the world's children.

The purpose of Gators for UNICEF is:
1. to educate people about issues affecting children
2. advocate policies that will help children worldwide
3. hold fundraisers to raise money for UNICEF projects

Gators for UNICEF hopes to assist the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in raising awareness and money to aid children living in insufficient conditions here in the United States as well as throughout the world.

We hope through the coordination with other humanitarian organizations that we can raise money for these humanitarian issues!
